This made me laugh so hard! Because you're right! Where in the hell can you a get a kidnap hood? I love me some Jack Ryan. John Krasinski surprised me! I didn't realize he was doing action movies until I'd heard he was in "13 Hours in Benghazi." [Side note about this movie: it was based off a true story and when I worked for Voldemort University (not the real name, obvi), the two surviving members of this unit came and spoke at the university] And then, of course, he did "The Quiet Place" (didn't see that one), so when I saw trailers for Jack Ryan, I was all, "Yep. Watching this one." Was NOT disappointed. Hope you guys are enjoying it. Good choice. LOL
1. What’s your favorite TV show to binge? (Always need recommendations) - Stranger Things (Netflix), Jack Ryan, Wednesday (Netflix), Reacher (Prime), Bridgerton (Netflix), Citadel (Prime), The Bodyguard (Prime), The Witcher (Netflix--so pissed Henry Cavill isn't coming back for this one), Enola Holmes (Netflix), The Night Agent (Netflix), The Recruit (Netflix, although I read this got cancelled #bootothehoo), The Rings of Power (Prime--if you're into Lord of the Rings), The Wheel of Time (Prime).
2. Do you know how to sew? - I do not. I learned how in a Home Ec class in middle school, but it didn't stick. I
3. Does Kim Kardashian have butt implants? (But-plants?) - Don't know. Don't care.
“This is the exact kind of post that makes me pause the show, look at my wife, and say, ‘Okay but seriously…who does make those hoods?’ She usually just sighs and hits play.
Ozark? Loved it. Jack Reacher? Yes please. Just wrapped Paradise (wild ending) and now into In From the Cold, which is like suburban mom meets secret Russian sleeper agent — and I’m weirdly here for it.
Also: ‘binge-tasy’ might be my favorite new word. And the idea of a kidnapping hood museum? Disturbingly compelling. I’d go. Quietly. With snacks.”
My goodness, as I was reading this I had to Google the history of kidnapping hoods! I had no idea that Etsy had such an extensive collection! Some are so disturbing! I'm bingeing "Father Brown" on BritBox because anything that calms the nerves in this chaos of days is most welcome. I DO sew, my gran taught me, and I love seeing the fruits of my labor when done. And 3, I am convinced that Kim K must have implants all over her bum because the overall form just looks so implausible??? But I've been wrong before 😂
I am picturing Katey Segal's character in "Sons of Anarchy" begrudgingly sitting at the sewing machine and/or washing machine, but she would more likely have told the boys to do it themselves. "Do I have to do everything for you babies?", she'd say.
Crime shows we've binged: "Better Call Saul", "The Americans", "Sons of Anarchy" (but had enough after season 2). Currently watching "Inspector Montalbano".
I am about to start sewing my first pair of dress pants. Everything I read tells me how difficult they are to fit properly, but I've procrastinated long enough and am now planning to enjoy the process.
What, or who is a Kardashian? 😉 Never mind. Interesting outfit.

Watched to the point of questionable sanity, Castle is my poison... followed by New Girl when my kids are around.

Paradise was fab. In From the Cold sounds intriguing. Thx for reading, commenting and sharing!
Just thought of another great crime show: "Il Cacciatore". A series about the take down of the Sicilian bad guys. Excellent. Also "Narcos".
Oooo. Thx. 🙏

Etsy! The hoods must be a sex fetish.
Ok. Time to get Brit Box. Between you, my ma and many comments here it’s time.
1. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
2. Yes, but only in a pinch
3. IDK but I suppose an MRI would be fun for the doctor to wade thru to try to ID a lot of foreign material
I should try that show again. Thx for reading and commenting, Mark.

Yes to Katie Segal! Loved that series.
Will have to check out Inspector Montalbano.
You're a seamstress! Go you!
So glad you've never heard of Kim Kardashian down under.
Oh, we get news of the whole clan down here, I just dislike giving people attention they don't need/deserve. (Here's looking at you, Meghan)
👏👏👏
Hahaha hilarious! And a superb question!
Inquiries abound.
Never get the appeal of a butt 🪴 - what do I know?
Hehe.
Oh my goodness, I love Wilma sewing! That's awesome.
This is a solid standup bit.
I missed my calling.
Or your calling is calling you now…
This is a classic essay! Definitely made my morning a little brighter! ❤️
Thx, sis. 👏🙏🥰
Thank you for a pleasant wake up story. Can’t wait to see the next kidnapping on TV and check out the hood.
You’ll think of me at the next kidnapping. Hehe.
Friggin hilarious!
1) Currently watching Paradise.
2) Hell no 🤣.
3) I make it a rule to not discuss other women’s bodies (in public anyway 😉).
We loved Paradise!
3. Good rule.
Clearly you guys were engrossed in the show. 🤣🤣🤣
Haha. When something gets too serious or intense I pull out the humor.
Landman is really well written. I’m not a Billy Bob Thornton fan, but I love him in this
Same! Can Sheridan do no wrong?
Right?! Eventually we’ll find out he made a deal with the devil.
Did you watch Paradise with Sterling K. Brown? Not a Taylor series, but I liked it.
