“I prefer to foster men until they find their forever homes.”

Ha! So many guys I know are like lost puppies looking for a cuddle and a food bowl. But they wander off and get lost again unless they end up at the shelter

Loved this! Kristi is kind and good and entirely too dismissive of her many, many talents. May she read this and say, "Wow!" ❤️

Oh, I knew I loved Kristi when I first met her but I didn't realize how much! Soo deliciously irreverent and real Thanks for this great interview.

I can see how the other family members would look askance at you and your son across the table at Christmas dinner. There is a bond between Moms and sons (I'm sure there are others but I only have sons so can only speak to this one) where they get each other and the whole sentence doesn't need to be formed for them to bust a gut laughing...and no one else gets it! The airport sign🤣

There are some brilliant lines in this interview, well done Kristi and CK! "Fostering the men" may go down in Substack history!

Hahaha Donna I'm so glad you enjoyed this! I didn't even mention that when he showed up with that airport sign he was also sitting in a wheelchair 😂😂 He was a rotten turd, that kid.

Thank you for reading this! It was so fun to do and I can't wait to read future interviews!

Even though Jamaica is pretty small, trekking across 36 times seems like a pretty amazing feat (or feet if she walked 😁). Kristi has some cool adventures in her Substack. I could live vicariously and/or hilariously through her writing.

Thanks Heather! And yeah, it is a small island. You can go tip to tip in 5 hours but the driving there is SO chaotic! It's not a pleasant, easy drive lol.

I like the questions you pose! Kristi seems VERY self-aware so her answers are a blast. This series can go on forever since there are a lot of you (Funny AF) I think .

Thx Mark. Comedy was always a boys club, even on Substack. I wanted to honor funny af women. 🥰

Love it. It's a stereotype but there is often a kernel of truth. Funny guys don't seem to turn it off and it's kinda needy and irritating. Just wanna say thanks for making me laugh but please stop now.

Lol I actually wrote the whole story about fostering men over on Medium a few years ago. I think I just gave up on dating in general 😁
