Happy Pasache! Had mine with Dad and Step mom last night and company. Delish...THis man, Charlton Heston, could not look better in the Ten Commandments and I am sure that is why it used to be on every single year forever...so hot to be able to prt the sea...
Our mostly non-religious household always got a few plays of the soundtrack to “Jesus Christ Superstar” every Easter, like my mom (Anglican) thought it would educate us! Instead, my brother and I made up different lyrics to the songs.😁
I had to explain to my local supermarket why the freshly stocked Matzo in the ethnic section weren’t flying off the shelves —see, these little words here? ‘Not for Passover’ 🤣🤣🤣
Actually the guy who I spoke with seemed absolutely conflabberated, I’m guessing he has zero religious affiliation or experience whatsoever. In fact he said, Well…you can use it the rest of the year, right? Yes, but the REASON why we would buy it is to observe Passover. (?!)🫠
That video is hilarious! I gotta say, I would be happy to have the Italians cater Easter dinner, too (if we did Easter dinner, which we don't). I hope your son-in-law is amused, too.
I sometimes start to yell at the telly, but stop myself because it irritates the heck out of my hubby when I do. But I think you should go full-on Rocky Horror mode and start throwing matzo at the TV. Apollo might enjoy that...
I'm still waiting for my peas to come up, but saw my first crocus a couple days ago. And Mr. & Mrs. Robin are setting up housekeeping in the nest they had last year, on the corner of our deck... the one with the bird spy cam my husband set up last year! I'm looking forward to watching the next generation grow up. 😁
Finally... I'm still confused: Please explain why New Jersey isn't American. Happy Passover, enjoy your family!
Your husband sounds very patient! There's no way my hubby would tolerate the pausing-yelling-playing routine more than once, he would refuse to watch telly with me. 😂
Huh. I still don't get the New Jersey joke, but I've never been there, so maybe that's it.
"they’re like pulling on skinny jeans that you outgrew 20 years ago." What a fabulous line! So descriptive.
Hope you have a wonderful Passover with your family. My sons will both be home for Easter. I'm looking forward to doing lots of cooking. I just made a batch of hot cross buns (without the cross, because I'm lazy like that) and the house smells so good!
It ain't Passover without The Ten Commandments, see? Chag Sameach!
Chag!!
Chag Sameach to you and your family!
To you as well. 💐🙏🏻
Happy Passover!
And as of yet, I haven’t seen any of those movies, but I think I’m gonna have to change that :)
Let me know your fav.
Happy Passover, Carissa. I enjoyed the Sebastian clip, although Marcello Hernandez maybe does a funnier Sebastian than Sebastian himself.
Yes! He’s hilarious!

Haha. Charlton. He looked like a chiseled Greek god.
A Greek Jewish guy
I still have PTSD over having to memorize the "Four Questions."
Oy...
BTW, as a fellow Heeb, you may get a giggle out of this: Do you think it's coincidence that April Fool's Day is NINE MONTHS before Christmas??
Were you the designated youngest child growing up and forced to read every year too?
April 1 is 9 months before Jan 1. Competing for the 1st baby of the new year?
Indeed I was.
About the whole April Fools thing: Maybe Baby Jesus was a preemie; I kinda doubt the whole virgin birth story (but ya never know!).

Happy Passover, Carissa! That Sebastian clip is hilarious.
Thx, Chris!
Happy Passover! How nice that you get to spend it with family.
Thx. It’s super nice. 😊
Only one I remember is the Gods and Kings one, and I remember liking it.
Mostly a chill week for us, now that our cheer travels are over. Happy Passover Carissa!
Thx! Enjoy your chill week!

Haha. Did they look confused still?

Hehe.
We make Charoset with dates, not apples (nod to the Sephardic side of the family). And I love your verb “sedering.” It’s mine now too.
Prince of Egypt is the grandkids favorite. Mine is The Ten Commandments. Heston, Brynner, and Robinson provide all the ham that’s kosher for Passover.
Happy Passover to you and yours!
Haha. Yes they do provide the ham. Happy Pesach! Chag Sameach!
Chag sameach! Prince of Egypt is my favorite of the bunch. You need to add “For your consideration” which was originally “Home for Purim” in the movie
Wait. There’s another Passover movie?
Saw this with Ariel on our date if you can believe it

I can’t believe I’ve never seen this.

Yes! Italian catering!
My hubby doesn’t like when I yell too because he’ll miss a line of dialogue. So I’ve learned to pause it, yell, then play.
Spring garden sounds wonderful.
New Jersey is technically in the US but I think the joke is that it’s such an outlier it’s like another country. Hehe.

Haha. It’s actually a beautiful state but it got a bad rep because just outside NYC it’s quite ugly and smelly.
But they call it the "Garden State." Must be all the fertilizer that causes the smell...
I love the Prince Of Egypt.
Watched The Ten Commandments every year since I was a small child.
That is the funniest bit about his first seder from Sebastian. I think he ended up marrying that Jewish girl.
Have a fun seder . Chag Pesach sameach!
Yes. He’s still married to the Jewish woman.
Chag sameach!

Nice! Nothing like family time. 🥰❤️
